‘Rain’ – the final version

by on Nov.05, 2010, under Latest News

Rain Rain’ is an emotive song about survival and the immediate need for positive global change. It is both symbolic in terms of presenting a potentially bleak time when we no longer have natural resources due to us neglecting our earth and also literal, depicting our fundamental need for water. It also strongly addresses how big corporations have been controlling our food supply and the need for people to fight back and regain control, at least over their local communities, which is where strength truly lies. The phrase used many times before that really seems poignant to this cause is “Think Globally, Act Locally”. It can start very simply with a positive thought and the will to change. CLICK on image to play song.

Henta interview and live music video for ‘Rain’ on The Melon

by on Oct.28, 2010, under Latest News

Here is a cool interview by Elliot Trotter of me talking about my new song ‘Rain‘ and also a great live music video of me performing/recording this song, that he filmed and produced at the Piano Studio Seattle.  The piano was recorded on a beautiful Steinway at the Piano Studio, so if you’re looking for a piano with an amazing sound and action, in a beautiful environment, then look no further, it was a joy to play.

Rain‘ in basic terms is a song about survival, the urgent need to look after our earth and support our local communities.  Change starts at a local level, so it’s up to everyone to try and make their own personal contribution to help bring about positive global change.
