My new album ‘Laserium for the Soul’ has just been nominated for a Grammy award in the ‘Best New Age Album’ category. I am particularly proud of and grateful for this nomination, especially as I am an independent artist. I would really like to thank all those Grammy members who voted for me and believed in my music.
My intent for this album has always been about sonic nurturing and reaching a broad audience for the purpose of relaxation and healing.
I’m looking forward to sharing this work with more people in a live capacity and perhaps a few more times in surround sound.
Thank you again for your support. Also, very special thanks to Marcell for all his wonderful help and support and for making me this amazing brand new website!

GRAMMY NOMINATED! Laserium for the Soul has been nominated for a Grammy in the New Age Category! Also David Miles Huber, a friend and music colleague has been nominated for a Grammy in the Surround Sound Category for his album ‘Colabs’ and Henta and Marcell Marias both have song collaborations on this album too – exciting news!

Henta is very pleased to be collaborating with Echo Us on their third album, “Tomorrow Will Tell The Story”. “Tomorrow” takes off where this Summer’s “The Tide Decides” concluded, and brings the Echo Us story into its next chapter.
Henta is adding her vocals to some of the wonderful, thought-provoking, haunting and melodical tracks from this album, alongside Ethan’s strong and passionate vocals. To hear short samples of these tracks, please visit their website.

Henta has finished writing her new album ‘Laserium for the soul’ which will be released in August. Her CD Release gathering will be held on September 4th at East West Bookshop, Seattle.

Henta is preparing for Total Immersion II, which is a wonderful surround sound concert on June 13th in Seattle where she will be performing some songs from the new album as well as those from her other albums, as well as collaborating with StringStation and Marcell Marias. Henta has now finished writing her new album especially for healing, meditation and spa centres which focuses on chakra activation, healing and relaxation. The album is presently being mixed but Henta hopes to be able to release it by July.

Henta is writing a new album especially for healing, meditation and spa centres which focuses on chakra activation, healing and relaxation.
Henta continues to focus on teaching children piano with an added provision for recording childrens’ simple compositions using a mobile recording unit. Please see the Teaching Page for more information.
Henta and Marias continue to perform live with special emphasis on downtempo gigs to promote healing and relaxation.

Grammy 2008 Nominations – Henta’s album ‘Daisy Dancing’ has made it into the overall Grammy Nominations Selections for ‘best pop album’ 2008 and her song ’so loved’ has made it into the ‘best female vocal performance’ 2008.
“Nothing quite like’ has been included in the fourth volume of a Benefits CD in an ongoing CD compilation series that generates money to house, feed, and find homes for wayward pets.
Henta’s songs now available for download through Nimbit on her music page. Please support her work by using this site. CDs can still be purchased through CD baby but this facility will also be available through Nimbit in due course.
Henta continues to teach children to play the piano and express themselves through music and songwriting in Seattle. Please contact her for futher information.

Henta provided a voice-over for Drum DJ’s TimeWarp intro
Henta has been working with Musical Minds Piano Keyboards Club who bring electric piano keyboards to schools and give kids an opportunity to learn to play their favorite tunes and melodies, from radio hits to movie and television theme songs. Check out the link for more details about Musical Minds.

Henta has finally finished “Daisy Dancing”, her 2nd album, after spending just over a year in Seattle and many hours mixing and mastering with Laz Harris. Please keep checking the website for updates on CD release date, which is scheduled for the beginning of March, followed shortly by a CD Release Party in Seattle.
