Work and life experience

Henta Enterprises – present

Songwriting
Songwriting in many styles including dream-pop, electronic, meditation, dance and childrens’ lullabies, as well as collaboration with other musicians and producers.  Primary recording tools include Cubase and a variety of virtual instrument plug-ins.

Teaching
Contract piano teacher for elementary school children in the Greater Seattle.  Incorporating basic music theory with learning popular songs and film themes.

Administration and events
Administration and freelance events services (experience in the IT industry).

Other music related activities

Currently performs downtempo and dance sets with Marcell Marias, together with producing videos and live show visuals.

Actively involved as one of the founder members of Seattle’s Electronic Music Collective LLC which organises a variety of social and educational events.

March 2008 Released third album ‘Daisy Dancing’, a collection of rhythmical and melodical downtempo, ambient and acoustic heartfelt songs with strong and sensual vocals.

Collaborated with artists like Marcell Marias, David Miles Huber, Ari Joshua and Ludington GT. Album was mixed and mastered by Laz Harris and CDs and downloads are available through  www.henta.co.uk.

November 2006 left homeland Guildford, UK and moved to Seattle to finish latest album ‘Daisy Dancing’.

1998-2006

Played in a number of bands and collaborated with other musicians and sound engineers on projects in varying styles of music. Composed and released production library music for Northstar Music and Stock International, some of which has been featured on the Discovery Channel. Also a finalist in Unisong 1999.

Previous projects involved working with Geraint Hughes who is famous for co-writing some hits from the 70s, some of which have since been remixed recently, namely ‘I lost my heart to a Starship Trooper’ and ‘Barbados’. Produced a mixture of covers and original songs (The White Rabbit Collection), as well as library pieces together from the famous ‘Podule’.

Worked closely with another producer Marc Francois who was sound engineer for La Mint Collection and co-writer on ‘Wanna Luv You’ from this collection.
